FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will my photos be shown
to the members of the opposite sex?

The photos are strictly confidential and are neither shown nor transmitted.

Do you accept registrations
outside of Canada?

Only registrations from people residing in Canada are accepted.

What is the response time
to a registration request?

A maximum delay of seven (7) working days is to be expected after submitting a registration request.

Are there meetings during
the month of Ramadan?

We do not organize meetings during the holy month of Ramadan. However, the Agency remains open, we are accepting registrations and are continuing to analyze application files.

How does the proposal of a profile work?

We plan the meeting with a person whose profile we have selected according to your criteria. You will receive by e-mail, before the appointment, a "profile sheet" containing basic information on the person proposed to you (first name, age, profession, etc.). *Attention: no photo is sent. Thereafter, a meeting is organized in person or in Zoom.

How do meetings go?

Although it is possible to hold a meeting on Zoom, face-to-face meetings are recommended. They take place in the evenings and on weekends. The Agency proposes an appointment to the couple. On site, people are warmly welcomed by the team. In order to respect Islamic ethics, the couple never remains alone. The meeting lasts 40 minutes. At the end of the 40 minutes, we make sure that each person leaves separately. Finally, we get feedback from people via email.

What happens after
a first meeting?

After each meeting, members have 48 hours to complete a form informing us of their interest in continuing or not with the person met. The Agency acts as an intermediary and ensures exchanges and links between people.

What happens if both people validate
their mutual interest and agree to meet again?

In order to respect Islamic ethics, no contact details are exchanged before or during the meeting. If, after the meeting, the two people wish to continue their process together to deepen the exchanges, the Agency communicates the telephone numbers to the other person. If the woman wishes, we can compromise with her guardian (wali).

Why do you refuse
registration requests?

It happens that we refuse registrations if, after studying your profile, we think that we will not be able or that it will not be easily possible to honor our commitment to offer you a minimum of five (5) people to meet who meet your expectations.

How many meetings
am I entitled by registering?

If your registration request is accepted, it means that we are confident that we can honor our commitment to offer you a minimum of five (5) meetings during your membership year. There is no maximum number of encounters. As long as the member remains single, we actively pursue research and meeting proposals until the end of their contract.

The number of women and men
enrolled proportional?

Yes. We ensure a balance between the number of men and the number of women registered.

What documents are required
when registering?

The following documents are required upon registration:

  • A photo ID

  • A pay statement

  • Proof of address

These documents are strictly confidential. They are used to ensure that all profiles are verified and are in no way communicated to third parties.

What are the annual membership fees?

The annual fee to become a member is $429 (applicable taxes included) for people aged 30 and under and $499 (applicable taxes included) for people over 30 years old. This rate includes targeted research and the organization of meetings. With a one-year contract, the Agency undertakes to offer a minimum of five (5) meetings over the year (no maximum).   We accept payment in installments.
